Devices used to detect wildfires are being developed thanks to the efforts of students and researchers at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, Mississippi State University, and the University of Mississippi.
Wilhelmine Damon, Dr. Ray Denton, Anne Dowdle, and Dr. Tajudeen Soyoye were inducted into the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Hall of Fame on Tuesday, March 8. The honorees are alumni or former employees who have excelled in their careers and life missions.
The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Eagle Esports group has 14 members, with Dyson Williams serving as president. Williams, a Computer Networking Technology Program student, said this tournament was the first since the pandemic. "We're trying to get back on our feet again," he said.
Forty students from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Practical Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Radiologic Technology programs reached out to help canines in need.
