For David Quave, the experience gained from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø yielded many dividends. "ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's influence on me and my family greatly transcends the two years I was enrolled," he said.
From songs to poetry to stories, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's 2024 Black History Month Celebration reinforced its theme, "African Americans and the Arts," with selections presented by community residents and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø staff and students.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's 2024 Humanities Teacher of the Year, Jade Parkes, who serves as a history instructor at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, presented "Before Green Eggs, Grinches, or Cats in Hats: An Examination of the World War II-Era Works of Dr. Seuss."
College wasn't in Atoria Crowell's plans for the future, but that all changed when a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø recruiter visited her class at Meridian High School.
