Seven adult detention officers from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department received their certificates after completing 96 hours in the Adult Detention Officer Training Program at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø.

The 5K run and walk, one-mile fun run, and Survivor Street Strut will be Saturday, Oct. 19, with all activities beginning at 8 a.m. at the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Track.

Honoring those who have sacrificed and their families, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø hosted a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag-raising ceremony with campus and community turning out in front of Ivy-Scaggs Hall.
