ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø will form its first-ever competitive dance team, which is set to bring a new spirit of energy to campus life, said campus officials during a press conference held at the PTK Courtyard of Scholars on the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø campus.

The opportunity to play basketball led Derrius Ramsey to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. But it's the people he likes best about his college choice. "The Student Success Center, the instructors, actually, everyone around here is very nice," he said.
Shirley, an 18-year-old freshman from Collinsville, is excited to be on campus at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, a place she's known since her dad, Myke, teaches in the Construction Trades Program.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is adding another team to its Eagle athletic roster: swimming, making ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø the only community and junior college in the state to offer it as a sport. 
"ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø was worth it. I use what I learned there today and every day. The instruction I received prepared me for life and the work and job duties I do today. And it helped me be successful," Boone said.
