Patel has been recognized by Meridian's WTOK TV's Salute to Excellence program for her achievements as a recent graduate of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Dental Hygiene Program.
For 36 years, ADN students at the College have benefited from scholarships from the Meridian-based medical center. Recipients are full-time students who post grade B or better in nursing courses and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
O'Neal, who will receive her associate of applied science degree and career and technical certificates from the Medical Office Management Technology program on May 10, is 56 years old and the mom of four children and grandmom of 18.
