The race and strut pay tribute to breast cancer survivors and current breast cancer patients, increase breast cancer awareness, and raise funds for the Baptist Cancer Center-Anderson Patient Benevolence Fund.

At the age of 54, Meridianite Pam Mosley was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer--one of the most aggressive forms of the disease. Today, she's eight years cancer-free.
From reading to children, painting murals, and planting gardens to performing music for retirement home residents, My College Cares Day volunteers  - including students, faculty, staff, and administrators - will engage in various service activities.
Open to high school students, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø students, and community members, the competition offers participants the chance to compete in Short Story, Informal Essay, and Poetry categories.
The 5K run and walk, one-mile fun run, and Survivor Street Strut will be Saturday, Oct. 19, with all activities beginning at 8 a.m. at the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Track.
