The exhibit opens Tuesday, Feb. 13, and continues through March 19. The opening reception is planned for Feb. 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The campus and community are invited to attend.

Some 15 youths got the chance to act up and discover other outlets for their creative endeavors when ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Communication and Fine Arts Division hosted Arts Day with Newton County Schools' Talented and Gifted students.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø received a $5,000 grant from the MS Community College Board for non-traditional recruitment and retention for its innovative program, Experience the One: Occupations Not Usually Explored by Non-Traditional Students.
"With orientation, students can check out our campus but also learn of all the support available," said Katie Barrett, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø dual education coordinator.
By invoking the words of the iconic civil rights leader, speakers at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's MLK Commemorative Celebration reminded the audience true character is revealed in times of challenge and controversy, not in moments of comfort.
