The award recognizes college leaders who go above and beyond to support student success. Knight was nominated by PTK students, who praised his dedication both inside and outside the classroom.

Layers of color and memory come alive in an exhibit at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Casteel Gallery show featuring the works of Robert Hale-Smith, the nom d'art of retired ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø speech and theater instructor Jimmy Smith.
During her tenure at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, James impacted hundreds of students and earned numerous accolades, including ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Teacher of the Year, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍøer of the Month, and the T.J. Harris Award for outstanding service to the college and community.
Life often unfolds in chapters and for Marmion Loving Francis, those chapters are clearly defined: growing up in West Point, rearing her family in Meridian, and finding her purpose at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø.
Since joining ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø in September 2021, Freeman finds joy in the friendships she's made on campus. "The best thing about ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is definitely the friends and relationships I have cultivated since I've been here," she said.
