ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø alumnus the Hon. Kenneth Dustin Markham will present the keynote address at the College's program, "Know the Past, Shape the Future," on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. in the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Riley-Workforce Development Center.

A story about a special little girl with an extra extraordinary imagination will unfold when ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's Arts & Letters Series presents Matilda Jr. on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 22 and 23.
Brand, an alumna of the College, appeared on the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Today show set, speaking about her journey as Miss Mississippi and her platform as well as other topics.
Reflecting on the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Hon. Sumeka C. Thomas stressed the importance of speaking up in times of injustice when she presented the keynote address at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's MLK Celebration program.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø has received a $25,000 grant from The Women's Foundation of Mississippi for a new program, Connect2ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, geared to help female two-generation students.
